On Napoleon, unexpected events are anticipated: your stake will be refunded for any betting option that includes a player’s performance (Goalscorer, Player Shots on Target, Player Fouls, or any other player performance) if the player you bet on started the game but was substituted before the beginning of the second half.

Don't forget! The rule applies to both regular offer bets as well as those from Bet Builder and Match Combos.

That's why we keep you away from situations you haven't thought of.  

Let’s say you like top scorers and H. Kane is your man for goals. If you bet on H. Kane to have at least one shot on target and he was substituted before the start of the second half, then you're protected from bad luck, as your stake will be refunded!

If H. Kane was subbed off before the start of the second half but managed to have a shot on target, you can pop the champagne because your bet is validated as a win! 

However, your bet is lost if you placed a bet on H. Kane to score the first goal of the match, he was substituted before the start of the second half, and a teammate or an opponent managed to score the first goal.
